Bajaj Avenger 220 Bobber by Ornithopter Moto House
Nashik-based motorcycle customisation workshop, Ornithopter Moto House, have modified a Bajaj Avenger 220 as a hybrid between a chopper and a bobber. It gets a Zed handle bar which is the highlight of the Bajaj Avenger Bob 220.
The Bajaj Avenger 220 Bobber gets front tyre sourced from Michelin in 120/80-R17 specification. The rear unit is by Metzeler in 150/90-R15 spec. The exhaust, just as the handlebar, is custom made. The fuel tank has been modified, giving it a bulged look. It has been painted in metallic orange which immediately draws attention to the bike
The rugged engine guard and black paint on the powerplant, which has been left stock, adds a bold look to the bike. The chassis has been shortened and given the same paint scheme. The circular headlamp adds flavour to the Bobber styled customised Bajaj Avenger 220. In stock form, the Bajaj Avenger 220 is powered by a twin spark, two-valve, DTS-i 220 cc mill. Coupled to a 5-speed gearbox the engine produces 19.03 PS of power at 8,400 rpm and 17.5 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm.
The present generation Bajaj Avenger is retailed with a 150 cc and a 220 cc engine. The range includes Avenger Street 220, Avenger Cruise 220 and Avenger Street 150.
