The 2017 Kawasaki Z250 was confirmed for the Indian market in April 2017. Now new photos from Motorbeam show the BSIV compliant bike reaching dealerships. The naked quarter-litre motorcycle gains a few sticker upgrades and subtle colour changes.

Moving away from black, Kawasaki has favoured grey which is seen dominating the ‘Z’ badging, the side semi-fairing and the position below the seat. The black alloy wheel rims have been replaced with golden rims. The under-engine cowl has been changed from green to black. The front fender though is now predominantly green as against the all-black scheme in the previous model.

The 2017 Kawasaki Z250 gets a 290 mm petal disc in the front and a 220 mm petal unit in the rear, both with dual piston calliper. Despite a hefty price tag, the 2017 Kawasaki Z250 misses out on ABS.

The Kawasaki Z250 is expected to get a new model internationally after the debut of the 2018 Kawasaki Ninja 250. The new model is expected to gain mechanical changes along with a new upside down fork up front.
The 2017 Kawasaki Z250 carries a price tag of INR 3.09 lakhs (ex-showroom, Pune).
